Here are a few tips on how to share your iMovie videos.
Inside the iMovie application, click on the “Share” menu to see a drop-down list of choices on how to share your movies. There are now so many ways to share your videos, including MobileMe, YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and more! Let’s first explore using YouTube to share your movies.
YouTube
To start, you’ll need an active YouTube account. With your account details in hand, select the “Share on YouTube” option from the Share menu. First, you’ll need to choose the video that you want to share by clicking on it and highlighting it. Choose Share>YouTube to open the YouTube upload menu. Once the menu is open, it’s easy to get things ready for your upload. Select your account name, enter your password and enter any information for the title of the video, description and tags. You can also use this menu to modify the file size before uploading. Once you’ve made your selections, click “next” at the bottom of the menu to be directed to a YouTube page asking you to confirm your upload. If you accept, your video will be live and available on YouTube shortly!
Follow a similar first set of steps in order to share your movies on Facebook. Select your video and highlight it, and then select “Facebook” from the Share menu at the top of the Finder. A Facebook menu window will open and offer you the ability to sign in to your account and upload your video. With this helpful built in feature, you’ll be sharing your movies in just a few clicks. Simply connect to your Facebook account and you can quickly share and upload your iMovie videos directly into your Facebook account to share with friends and family near and far.
