How To: Enable or Disable Trackpad Clicking on a Macbook

So I have trackpad taping or clicking disabled on my Macbook Pro. I can’t stand accidentally touching my trackpad while navigating the web and selecting something that I didn’t mean to select. So, if you are wanting to enable or disable, here is your solution.

  1. Click the apple in the upper left hand corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
Select Mac system preferences from the apple top left
  2. Now select the “Trackpad” option on the second row down.
Select trackpad from Mac system preferences
  3. Now that you are in the Trackpad section, you can check to enable or uncheck to disable the Trackpad clicking.
Check or uncheck the tap to click trackpad option on Mac
Happy trackpad fun!
